Question about hero armor - Guild Wars Forums

Ok I haven't upgraded m hero's armor at all throughout the game and now at the end i kind of need to. I talked to the guy and he said that I need to find ancient armor and then he will craft me new armor for my hero. So the question is where do i find ancient armor?

You don't particularly *need* to upgrade hero armor. Their armor levels will increase as they level up, giving them the equivalent of max armor when they hit level 20. However, their armor will still be without bonuses until you apply them yourself with runes and insignias.

The "ancient armor" thing is really just for show. It'll change the way a hero's armor looks, but it won't change it's functionality or armor level.

Here's another question about hero armor, how do you switch between them.

Back at one of the Hero Armorers, you can switch to a previously used set if you've changed from it.
